Grower’s Workshop: Sowing Seeds

In our view, seed sowing is one of the most satisfying tasks of all on a flower farm. Nurturing one little seed into a baby plant is hugely rewarding. During this course, you will learn: • How to achieve successful germination • When to sow annual, biennial and perennial seeds • Different sowing techniques • About container and compost selection You will then sow your own seeds and prick out seedlings, which you can take with you to nurture at home.
